1. Go to their profile

2. Float over friends on top of their profile

3. Select Close Friends

Note: You can add friends to more than one list or remove friends from a listing.

Approach 2

1. Open the Facebook application.

2. Tap menu symbol in top best corner > Friends

3. In the Friends tab, tap the friend you want to add to the Close Friends list to check out her/his Facebook page

4. Tap the Friends button > Edit Friend List

5. Select Close Friends, and then tap Done.
